What is the Cultural Cook-Off?

The Inaugural Cultural Cook-Off is an event that fosters diversity in our local community through the universal languages of food, music, culture, and dialogue. Local food vendors from various cultures compete with one another to raise money for wonderful causes with live music, cultural arts, vendors, icebreakers, games, prizes, contests, speakers, and much more! #Network4ACause


How do I purchase tickets?

Purchase pre-sale tickets online now or in person from a P40 member.  We encourage you to buy your tickets today so that we have more than enough food for the entire family! Tickets will also be sold at the door.


Law Enforcement Officers with a badge and Active Duty Military with a Military ID can purchase their Event Ticket for half off! Discounted tickets must be purchased at the door or pre-sale from a P40 Member. You may also get $5 OFF with a Foodbank donation. Limit (1) discount per ticket. Call 757-574-0289 for more info.

Can I promote my business as at this event?

There are many different sponsorship opportunities that may fit your budget. To advertise, contact us at info@p40network.com for more information. You will be contacted within 24hrs by one of our members.


Do kids get in free?

Children 12 and under get in free with the purchase of an Adult Ticket. Limit (2) children per Adult Ticket. Additional Sampling tickets may be purchased pre-sale (25% OFF) or at the event at regular price. 


How do I enter the Lumpia-Eating Contest?

Thanks to the folks at Lumpia & Co., send us a High Quality Photo we may use to promote you & tell us why we should choose you as a contestant by sending in a short video clip! Email us: info@p40network.com


How do I purchase additional food tickets?

Each Adult Ticket will receive (2) FREE sample tickets. Each Additional Sample ticket is $1 at the event or may be purchased pre-sale for 25% OFF or at the event at regular price. Each Food Sample ticket is equal to $1 USD. Tickets will be used to purchase food samples.


Who do donations go to?

Event attendees may donate directly to any of the nonprofit organizations at the event. A portion of the proceeds from ticket sales and day-of sales will be donated to these local nonprofit organizations: Montero Medical Missions, Life Enrichment Center, Roc Solid Foundation, Blankets For The Homeless, Compassion Advocacy Network, and Habitat For Humanity. Canned goods will be donated to the Foodbank of South Eastern Virginia.


What type of of food will be available?

We will provide a curated selection. of authentic cultural dishes. We just ask that you provide an appetite! 


Will there be activities for my kids?

Yes! There will be plenty of fun activities, games, and a bounce house sponsored by Bounce Time Rentals to keep your little ones entertained and happy! There will also be corn-hole available for the big kids and for those who are kids at heart.

The Cultural Cook-Off will be hosted by the Virginia Beach Field House. Click here for directions.


Will beer be available for purchase?

Yes! The Virginia Beach Field House has alcohol for purchase with a valid government issued photo ID. However, proceeds from alcohol sales will not benefit the Cultural Cook-Off. We encourage purchasing Additional Sample Tickets to support the Cultural Cook-Off.
