Today was a monumental day for young professionals in the Hampton Roads Area! The P40 Network was honored to be invited to The Young Leaders' Roundtable, organized by CBDX President Joash Schulman. The invited organizations included The Urban League of Hampton Roads Young Professionals, Creative Union, CBDX, Downtown 100, Bridge, Generation MOCA, The Jaycee's, tHrive, Town Point Club Emerging Leaders Group, WHRO Emerging Leaders Board, Tidewater Jewish Federation, and The Professionals Under 40 Network. We were joined by distinguished guest, Virginia Beach Councilman Ben Davenport and Drew Lumpkin, Regional Director for Senator Mark Warner. Together we discussed ideas to improve our region for generations to come. Topics ranged from the light rail extention, to building an active lifestyle to attract young professionals to Tidewater. We all agree that one is too small of a number, but together our voices will move mountains and create the Hampton Roads' we've all dreamt of. The Professionals Under 40 Network is stoked to be apart of this new groundbreaking roundtable and look forward to creating a greater Hampton Roads.
